Due to the continued delays in offering a restart of youth sports in Ohio, we have made the decision to cancel the 2020 Spring Recreation Soccer season for the Bay Area Soccer League.
We are offering 3 choices on what to do with your Spring recreation soccer registration.
We can transfer your players to the Fall 2020 season. If you chose this option, you will avoid the $10.00 registration fee increase detailed out below that will be implemented for the Fall 2020 season.
We can transfer your players to the Spring 2021 recreation soccer season. The fees you paid for the Spring 2020 season will be credited towards the fees of the Spring 2021 season but you would be required to pay the difference due to the price increases.
We can cancel your registration for the Spring 2020 recreation soccer season and refund your fees. This process should take approximately 4-6 weeks and will be refunded by check.
The 2020 Fall season is scheduled to begin late August and end on late October.
Please respond by May 31st at the following link to enter your choice. Spring Cancellation Response Form. If you have multiple players registered, please fill out the form for EACH player so that we may perform the appropriate action. ALL transfer and cancellation requests MUST use the form at the link above. If you do NOT respond in the form, we will transfer your players to the Fall 2020 soccer season.
We request that you do not call with questions regarding this cancellation. If you have questions, please reply to this email. We will respond as quickly as possible. We ask for your patience in this process. It will take time and you will receive emails of cancellations or transfers when they happen. Please log in to your BASL account and confirm that your email address and all other account information is accurate.
The cost to operate youth sports leagues continues to grow, the Fall season will reflect an increase in registration fees to $50 per player with discounts for families in line with what we have offered in previous seasons. If you choose to take the credit toward the Fall season you will NOT have to pay the increase for the BASL Fall season. Our website provider is implementing an order processing fee as well. This will be added to your order at checkout. This fee does NOT come back to the league but is used to support the website at no cost to the league.
We are excited to announce our summer series of youth soccer camps in association with SportsForce Parks. These are popular and fill up quickly. Coach Paul is excited to get back on the pitch and work with kids to build their soccer skills. Registration for these camps will open soon and we will send out updates via email and Facebook.
